WordPress DeveloperI have built (and often designed!) websites since 2009, having found the magic of WordPress back in 2018, and worked professionally as a WordPress Developer since later that year. I have been involved in projects spanning from simple informational websites to complex e-commerce platforms.
Work Experience
Here are some of my favorite projects I worked on during my time at each agency! Unfortunately many had to be left out for spacing purposes :(
Colourful Peru
Colourful Peru is a multilingual platform where users can learn about the many landmarks and cities of Peru, my country, and build an itinerary with the ones they find the most interesting. Within the site they can inquire about the destinations listed and also book accommodations for each of those destinations. Built from scratch using ACF, CF7 and the OpenWeatherMap Weather API for displaying the weather for each destination.
ISIL
Refactoring of the ISIL website where we had to add support for multiple languages; modify the structure for each career within the admin page, and implement the integration with Salesforce, a platform to track stats of the website. Among the plugins used are Loco Translate, ACF. Pardot (Salesforce) used for inquiry forms.
Paired Club
Having trouble finding your perfect wine match? Paired Club helps you with that. Users can complete a quiz with information about their taste preferences and a list of matching wines is displayed. Bottles of wine are also offered in bundles, for specific occasions and along with food items. The website was built using the Salient theme and WooCommerce. Heavy customization was done for each WooCommerce template (product details, cart and checkout) using plugins such as Pods, ACF and CF7.
Saje & Vine
The platform for Saje & Vine was built with customization in mind. Users can pick the predetermined Charcuterie boards and then change, add or increment the items they'd like. Once in the cart, they can input their data for each of the products, which is helpful if they're buying them as a gift. We used WooCoommerce to handle the boards and the add-on items.
Other Interests
A bit off-topic, but I love music! I enjoy many genres, but my favorites are Power Pop and Progressive Rock. The picture at the top was taken while I was playing with my band, Life of Padre, in Pisac, Cusco, one of the most beautiful backgrounds a Musician could ask for.
